Dirk De bruyn

Dirk De bruyn is Senior Product Manager at the European Payments Council (EPC), where he is responsible for the Payment Security and Payment Fraud activities and related working groups.

With more than 35 years of experience in the payments industry, Dirk has held a variety of roles with major financial institutions and global IT service providers, including IT Architect, Business Architect, Project Manager, and Consultant.

Today, Dirk leads the development of the EPC's Fraud Information Distribution Arrangement (FRIDA), an initiative that will enable payment service providers across the EEA and the wider SEPA area to exchange payment-related fraud information in a fully automated and standardised manner.

In his session, Dirk will present the key concepts and benefits of the FRIDA scheme, discuss remaining challenges, and provide an update on the status and roadmap.
