The upcoming PSD3 Directive and the new Payment Services Regulation (PSR) will fundamentally change the rules governing the provision of payment services, customer protection, and the operation of open banking. At the same time, the European market is preparing for the widespread introduction of euro instant payments, the development of digital identity, and the transition towards - Open Finance – an approach based on secure data sharing across the financial ecosystem.
How are banks, payment institutions, and fintech companies preparing for these changes? Where do the main opportunities lie, and what regulatory or technological challenges can be expected?
The conference will bring together representatives of regulators, banks, payment institutions, and fintech companies to discuss the practical implications of the new legislation, the development of payment infrastructure, and the future of payments in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
