Jakub Ouhrabka is Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Comgate, one of the largest providers of payment gateways and payment terminals in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Comgate provides payment services for both online and brick-and-mortar businesses, holds a European payment institution licence, and acts as an acquirer for Visa and Mastercard. Its payment gateway is used by more than 23,000 e-shops.

Jakub has been with Comgate since 2000, when he joined the company as Head of Information Systems Development. He has served as Managing Director since 2017. He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University.

He has long focused on developments and trends in payment solutions for e-commerce. His areas of expertise also include the development of alternative payment methods in retail, particularly instant payments and QR code payments.
