Lukáš Okál has been with Tatra banka for the past three years, focusing on Open Banking, payment gateways and PSD2. He previously gained experience in the technology sector, where he worked on the strategic development of companies in the areas of digitalisation and cloud adoption. Today, he brings this experience into banking, contributing to the development of new topics and services that are driving the industry further towards digitalisation.

Over the past year, he has also been closely involved in agentic commerce, an emerging area that is reshaping not only the purchasing process itself, but also raising new questions around payment security, authorisation and payment processing in transactions carried out by AI agents.

He regularly speaks at e-commerce conferences, focusing on the future development of e-commerce and payments.
