Ing. Mgr. Tomáš Nýdrle

Deputy Director of the Department and Head of the Payment Services and Market Infrastructure Unit

Tomáš Nýdrle holds degrees from the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague and the Faculty of Economics at the Prague University of Economics and Business.

From 2009 to 2012, he worked in project management. Since joining the Ministry of Finance in 2012, he has worked on financial market legislation and currently serves as Head of the Payments Services and Market Infrastructure Department.

He represents the Czech Republic at expert meetings of the Council of the European Union and participated in the negotiations on the PSD2 Directive. At the Ministry of Finance, he led the drafting of the new Payment Services Act.
