Ing. Rudolf Pataki leads the Payment Systems Strategy Division at the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS), where they have long been involved in the development of payment services, payment infrastructure, and strategic initiatives aimed at modernising the payments market.

As part of his professional activities, he represents Národná banka Slovenska in a number of working groups dedicated to payments and payment systems within the Eurosystem and the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). He is also a member of Slovakia's national user group for payment services and systems.

He is currently extensively involved in work related to the digital euro, including its potential impact on the financial sector, payment infrastructure, and user experience. Drawing on his experience at both national and European level, he provides valuable insights into current trends, regulatory developments, and the future of digital payments in Europe.
